Someone bring me a Big Mac with large fries please. If giving up on this whole juicing malarkey was an option I would have done it already.
However, we learn as we go along and I've figured out that the whole banana and apple smoothie three times a day thing from that blog is utter BS. So shame on you, anonymous blogger. I have figured out I am always hungry because I'm literally just having fruit and water mixed together which obviously isn't filling me up at all. So, ladies and gentleman, if you're planning to drag yourself through this journey... DO NOT JUST HAVE FRUIT SMOOTHIES. YOU WILL BE HUNGRY, MISERABLE, AND WILL SNAP AT THE TINIEST THINGS BECAUSE SOLID FOOD IS LIFE AND YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED ANY RIGHT NOW. Instead, have a fruit smoothie of your choice in the morning (strawberries, raspberries and banana is my favorite so far), and then have a veggie smoothie for lunch and another one for dinner. This will keep you filled up for longer and you won't find yourself constantly thinking about food and dreading the next meal time because you're only allowed to drink and not eat.
On a plus side, I have lost a lot of weight from this. And even though it's something super good, it wasn't the main objective of starting all of this. In fact, my doctor didn't give me much of a choice.
It's definitely getting easier as the week goes on but I don't think I will be able to push this for a whole month like the doctor suggested for me to do. We will see how the rest of the week goes on.
